Don't think too much, a double review is a double review.

Dansha-ism

While both songs were released last month, they will count for my October lists, just saying.

From the first moment, Dansha-ism makes it clear that this is a fantastic dance track. The electronic instrument actually blends well with the vocals of a J-Pop girl group for once. The electronic guitar back verses are definitely one of the highlights of the song.

While the chorus is not unique, but it is performed with utter conviction, I am more for the electronic post-chorus breakdown, which is just excellent due to its instrumental. The guitar is also really cool. I must admit the J-Pop female groups are usually not my thing, and I like the song better without the MV. I am new to the Hello Project groups, but this seems like a great place to start.

What time is it?

A more melodic companion to Dansha-ism, 'What time is it?' are slow, and build towards the chorus. The melodic vibe actually helps it stand out. The chorus is held back by its generic IZ*ONE-esque instrumental, but the refrain in the second half helps it stand out.

The following electronic dance break is a song standout. It is simple yet effective. Thus, the following chorus is better than ever. In fact, I suspect that this song will have a longer shelf-life than Dansha-ism.
