End of Month List: April 2022

Well, April was underwhelming. There were some good songs, but very few tracks had any longevity on my playlist. Seriously, I doubt how many of these songs would make an eventual end-of-year list. Well, given how slow this year has been so far, it actually is possible for some of these songs to make it at least. Special note to Road-B's debut, which nearly made the top five.

On the other hand, there were some fantastic albums this month. RRR's soundtrack is one of the best this year, Onew's EP is certainly memorable, and Father John Misty's album (which I counted for whatever reason as a March release) was memorable. I also have heard good things for Haru Nemuri's new album, which I have yet to hear, and thus will count as a May release.

K-Pop may dominate my songs list, but most of this month was actually spent listening to classic albums for me this month. Everything from Simon and Garfunkel, Shin Jung-Hyun, Michael Jackson, X Japan, RD Burman, Ballad Zulu, and much, much more.

(Note: Several old songs from RRR received MVs this month, and I reviewed some old highlights. All of them have been made ineligible except for Etthara Jenda, which was released late enough for an exception, along with receiving an elongated full version).
